Do I need internet?
Logging works offline. With an account, your data syncs once you are online.
Can Juliboo read my data?
Your content is end-to-end encrypted. Only technical metadata for sync is needed to operate the service – no tracking content in plain text.
Can I use it without an account?
Yes. Without an account, your data stays only on your device and is not synced to the cloud.
How do I invite a partner?
In the app under Family → Invite – by email, link, or QR code.
What is the passphrase for?
It protects your encryption key. If lost, cloud-stored data cannot be recovered – keep it safe.
How much does Juliboo cost?
The base app is free. Juliboo Pro is paid; see details in the app.
Which languages are supported?
The app is available in German, English, French, and Spanish.
Where is my data stored?
Locally on your device. With an account, additionally encrypted in Frankfurt am Main (EU).
